„When I started with „lunatic voyage“ in early 2007, I had a straight concept album in mind: a CD retelling the whole story about the most lunatic vision of all mankind, making an adventurous voyage to the earths’ closest neighbour, the moon. It took thousands of years from the first imagination to the first man landing on the moon, leaving his footprint on its dusty surface.
Inspired by the fascination for aerospace-technique but also by myth and fairy tales made up hundreds of years ago, I started composing all the tracks of “lunatic voyage”. In the course of time it became an opus with lots of different electronic and organic sounds, sequences and harmonies. The result is an exceeding and exigent album with various faces: straight hints to classical Electronic Music, but also elements of 21st centuries’ sound. I hope listening to “lunatic voyage” will bring You as much particular joy as I had during its genesis ... somewhere between moon and earth.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
